"Guaranteed Website Traffic Scam "

This is true story.
Back in 2001, I had a new website that sells an ebook that I wrote from scratch. Its a simple ebook but heavy in contents because its so unique it cannot be found anywhere (until people start buying it, of course) on the internet at that time.
I got all the ingredients ready. A crisp looking website with mouth-watering ad copy complete with newsletter subscription system, viral marketing ebook download and a payment system in place. I am ready to sell but there are no visitors.
So I went and look up on the internet how I can get website visitors fast. And I later filtered my results and searched for guaranteed website visitors instead. It occured to me I just dont like website traffic. What I want really is guaranteed website visitors.
I want to make money and recover my investments immediately. My search leads me to an ad that reads,
"10,000 Visiitors to Your Website for only $19. Amazing offer! Limited supplies only.
So these guaranteed website visitors thing are not really targeted. Well, probably targeted to annoy us. Or maybe they are just targeted geographically. LOL!
How often have you come across a web site where another web site opened up automatically as a pop under? How many have actually splashed on your reading just to sell you viagra or cialis or whatever?! Usually your first reaction like me is to close that annoying window because you did not intentionally go and visit it. Nobody likes advertising forced being upon their throat.
So don't be tempted to buy guaranteeed website visitors that fast. You don't buy website visitors. Again, you dont need to buy guaranteed visitors. You build a strategy to achieve iit. And sure enough, buying is not an option.
Don't believe that " Even if only one percent of the ten thousand visitors convert, you can generate a profit". Why settle for anything less? You are paying so what's the point of getting a very small percentage of sales from the advertising campaign you paid for. Usually in these cases, you end up losing advertising money.
My favourite method of generating guaranteed website visitors is search engine marketing. The reason for this is that it brings in high quality leads proven to convert up to ten times better than other sources.
Once you understand which traffic sources bring quality traffic you will start making money on the internet. I would rather have a hundred highly targeted website visitors to my web site a day than have thousands of visitors from guaranteed visitors sellers that are not really targeted at all.
